Mr Mick’s Winery & Restaurant 8842 2555 – lunch only. Love this Restaurant, it’s within walking distance also to the B&B. It serves mainly tapas and the 2016 Rose is my absolute favourite. The Clare Valley is one of Australia’s oldest wine regions, best known for their Riesling wines. There are over 40 Cellar Doors where you can do wine tastings.

The Clare Valley parkrun is the latest asset to the Valley. It takes place every Saturday morning from 8.00am, enter at the Showgrounds from the southern gate. https://www.facebook.com/clarevalleyparkrun/

Restaurants, cycling trails, local markets, the annual Gourmet Weekend and Rotary Art   Exhibition in May, Mr Micks Master’s Games, homemade chocolates and a boutique brewery are just a few of the many local attractions.

Train Rides at the Lakeside Railway, Melrose Park

There is a playground and skate park across the road and on every 2nd and 4th weekend, Train Rides at the Lakeside Railway, Melrose Park at the bargain price of $2.00 per ride. You can also take a picnic and feed the ducks which live on the lake.

November to March – 2nd and 4th Saturday of each Month and Long Weekends – Twilight Run 6.00pm start.

April to October – 2nd and 4th Sunday of each Month – 1.30pm start – And long weekends 10.30am start.
