The Clare Valley is one of Australia’s oldest wine regions, best known for their Riesling wines. There are over 40 Cellar Doors where you can do wine tastings.

There is a playground and skate park across the road and on every 2nd and 4th weekend, Train Rides at the Lakeside Railway, Melrose Park at the bargain price of $2.00 per ride. You can also take a picnic and feed the ducks which live on the lake.
